LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Leaders are effective when they engage all aspects of their whole person: intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Be ready to gather resources and integrate facets through attention and connection.
IQ + EQ + SQ = your fullest potential.
A coaching and consulting relationship requires education and understanding. However, we go further. For substantial and long-lasting changes to occur, mind, heart and body must be engaged in the process. In light of this, the following are some of the modalities that we include in our services.
Neuroscience
At Embold, leadership development is fueled by research and science. For example, the area of Neuroscience has allowed us to understand how our bodies can affect learning, thoughts, emotions, and social interactions. Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to change continuously throughout an individual’s life. With the invention of medical equipment, MRI research shows our neurological responses of fight, flight, freeze and appease. If unregulated these emotions will overcome good leadership. Awareness of neurological responses allows us to make better choices and cultivate effective interactions with other people.
Emotional Intelligence
We live in a world filled with triggers. It is the job of a good leader to understand what responses are evoked and how reactions are fueled by these triggers. At Embold, we work with leaders to be the best version of themselves: we transform destructive reactions so as to cultivate positive interactions.
The ability to guide teams safely through a crisis depends heavily on how leaders react or respond to the trigger. We combine somatic leadership and emotional intelligence modalities to help individuals access strategies and resources to effect a calm and decisive approach in leadership.
Leadership Presence
Leaders who are influential and relatable tend to get the best responses from other people. Your presence is always under scrutiny: the way you listen, engage and respond to others is critical for good leadership.
Leadership is a combination of personal characteristics (grit, charisma or body language) and emotional intelligence and authenticity.
Leadership presence can be cultivated and polished. In the coaching relationship, we encourage a growing capacity for you to represent yourself authentically and in ways that connect intention with actions. We want to positively impact your success in work and life.
